EDITING

We are now in the editing stages of our film. Through out editing I have started to build upon skills which I developed during last years work. When we started to cut our clips and place them together we felt that we need another story line contrasting with our other 3 story lines as we felt that something was missing.
the other story lines which we have brainstormed are:

We are going to chose the story line of a girl running away from home and taking her mothers credit card. We chose this story line because it is gritty realism and people can relate to it.

These are pictures from aspects of editing which we have developed upon.

We felt that adding in transition fades the into the editing blended two scenes together and didn't leave the viewer feeling it is jumpy.

Here I learnt how to remove camera shake so that the viewer doesn't feel disorientated.

We also liked the vintage effect including the darkened edging around the clips and effect it to the majority of clips where we felt it was needed. It also toned down the brightness of our clips to change the mood of the view as the brighter it is the happier feel it has.

We are now going to re-story board and script the scenes' we are going to add into our Soap Opera advert and go out and film them again.

When choosing music we wanted to use the song 'Down Goes Another One' by McFly but we were unable to gain the permission needed. Instead we choose a free song found via itunes called .....
